Position Description

Great opportunity to join our team at De Paul Treatment Centers in exciting Downtown Portland, with easy access to the Max.  Work close to the Pearl district and delicious food cart blocks.  Be a valued member of our interdisciplinary team that includes trained and competent nurse practitioners, nurses, master’s trained mental health therapists and addiction counselors.  We serve the greater Portland community by providing evidence based dual diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment services. We are currently seeking full-time and on-call registered nurses to join our medical team to provide quality medical care to adolescents and adults. 

Variable shifts available with required rotating weekend and holiday shifts.  In addition, on-call nurses must work a minimum of 16 hours per 8 week time period.  Responsibilities include assessment of clients in detox program, adherence to our developed detox protocols, basic nursing care of residential clients, including: medication administration, medication order entry, reading and evaluating lab results and medical records, triaging medical needs, performing diagnostic testing as ordered. 

Position requires current RN licensure in the state of Oregon. Experience with alcohol/drug abuse and detox/withdrawal preferred.

Position requires 2+ years’ continuous sobriety, if recovering.
